My family, my life, my story. This blog is my record of my search for ancestors here in the United States and their countries of origin. It is also a record of my life and that of my descendants. Genealogy is a long time passion of mine and I hope you will join me. My main surnames of interest are Grashoff, White, Chaffin, Wells, Matzdorff, Fogleman, Stinehart, Omvig. Past, present, and future all come together. Preserving the present is as important as discovering the past.

Frances Mildred Chandler Banset
Our family lost a branch today. Frances Mildred Chandler Banset passed away today after surgery to repair a broken hip. Frances was the daughter of W. Roy Chandler and Elizaeth (Beth) Grashoff. Frances was my grandpa Grashoff's niece. They visited here in Iowa frequently both Fran and her sister Florence. Frances was a very sweet woman who will be missed. May 16, 1913 to September 7, 2012.

Genealogy Blog at Hidden Genealogy Nuggets
Teri, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. While I don't know you, I came here to visit your blog because I'm interested in family history research--in fact, I found your blog courtesy of GeneaBloggers. Even though we don't know each other, I think that keen interest in family demonstrated by our mutual interest in genealogy is a strong link. May you and your family find comfort in the coming days, and may that sense strengthen your family bonds.
